Service Description

Exam nerves are a normal feeling for everyone to experience. However, if the feelings are extreme and out of control, it may be time to seek help. Extreme exam nerves are a mixture of physical and emotional symptoms that interfere with your ability to perform well. The symptoms can include heart palpitations, panic attacks, shortness of breath, sweating profusely, shaking, fainting, vomiting, headaches and in extreme cases inability to breathe or feeling like you are having a heart attack. Emotionally you may feel extremely stressed, anxious, depressed, worried, low self-esteem, failure, fear, mind worrying, racing thoughts, blank thoughts and excessive over worrying. Feelings of pressure, failure and perfection are all areas that promote extreme anxiety, lack of confidence and self-worth and fear. Luckily, hypnotherapy can be of great help with exam nerves. By focusing on reducing the levels of stress and anxiety and getting the client to feel so much calmer and more relaxed, we can work towards a positive outcome on the day. If a client has an extreme fear it may be that we work on general relaxation initially and then work on different techniques. In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy we use highly effective techniques that safely remove the fear from you. We remove the fear template by using a rewind technique and then we replace it with a positive template, by using a reframe technique. Booking an initial consultation will give you a better understanding of why you are suffering from this, by explaining the solution focused hypnotherapy science of how the brain works. Not only will you understand what is causing you to feel like this but most importantly you will learn how to feel and cope so much better.
