Hypnotherapy can help increase your motivation and desire to be healthy by helping to stop your need for compulsive eating. Losing weight with hypnosis is about looking at all the areas of your life. Essentially, if you are feeling happy, calm and in control in all areas of your life, it will include your attitude towards eating. We will look at focusing on your achievements and looking forward to how you want your future to be. By looking at your goals in a positive way, celebrating achievements and not dwelling on negativity or the past, you can be helped to live a happy, calm, positive life, in control of your actions and behaviours. Booking an initial consultation will give you a better understanding of why you are finding it difficult to lose weight, by explaining the solution focused hypnotherapy based on the science of how the brain works. Not only will you understand what is causing you to find it so hard but most importantly you will learn how to feel so much better and in turn to be in control of yourself and able to lose weight. This is not a quick fix and only works in partnership with a balanced diet and regular exercise. You may find it useful to speak to your GP to discuss a healthy eating plan to work alongside the hypnotherapy.
